IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING TD MONTHLY

Please note that subscribers with a computer and internet access are now able to receive TD MONTHLY as an attachment via email. The issue can then be read in PDF format with the Adobe Reader program, which is available as a free download from: www.adobe.com

Advantages to receiving TD MONTHLY this way are as follows:

• Some subscribers may prefer to receive the issue via email rather than receive hard copy through the post due to their current home circumstances. Assuming they alone have access to their computers, the issue in PDF format cannot then be accessed by anyone in the home other than them. This may suit those living with relatives or overseas subscribers who will no longer have to wait for the issue to arrive in the post after being despatched in the UK.
• The issue can be saved on your computer in a folder of your choice, and then saved to disk so you have a permanent copy to refer back to.
• The default setting for viewing PDF’s in Adobe reader is usually ‘Fit Page’. With the ZOOM function, you can change the view aspect so that the issue can be read in a much larger font size, which is more comfortable for your eyes. Hint: the ZOOM TO function allows you even greater flexibility to do this, so that you can choose which font size is most comfortable for you.
• You are able to print off one copy of the PDF issue on your own printer for your own personal use. Please note that printing multiple copies for any use is an infringement of copyright.
• Space: you will be able to keep a permanent copy of all issues which will no longer take up storage space, should you wish to refer back to previous editions at any point.
• Security: All copies of TD MONTHLY emailed to you in PDF format will be password protected, so that you and only you are able to view them. Once your email address has been confirmed, I will then email you the password which will enable you to view your issues of TD MONTHLY. This password will be unique to your subscription period, so please keep it safe and do not reveal the password to anyone. The password will remain in operation for the period of your subscription, and will not change from month to month unless your subscription ends. In this way, you will only need to remember the one password for the period of your subscription. Should you choose to renew your subscription when it falls due, your password will remain the same, which, again, will prevent the need to remember more than one password, keeping things simple. If for any reason you happen to forget your password please don't panic! Simply send me an email and I'll forward your password to you again. Finally, just to confirm, should you not wish to renew your subscription for any reason when it falls due, rest assured that the password you have been using to view your issues will NOT be revoked and you will always be able to use this password to view the issues you have paid for.   
• Speed: A great deal of work goes into the production of TD MONTHLY, which can sometimes cause a slight delay in the despatch date (although I must say I always do my very best to adhere to this deadline). Despatching the issue in PDF format is instantaneous: receipt is then a simple matter of when you access your email program.
• Should any exisiting subscriber wish to receive future issues of TD MONTHLY as an email attachment in PDF format, please email me with your request. I will then send you an initial email requesting that you confirm your email address. Once done, I will email you your unique password and future editions of the publication will be sent via email in PDF format. New subscribers can simply request the issues in PDF format when they send in their Subscription Forms. Please remember to include your email address.

NB. The list of stories and Story Collections shown in previous issues of TD MONTHLY and available for purchase (details on the CP Stories Page), can also now be sent via email in PDF format - as can the stories themselves, should you wish to order any and receive them this way.

Please remember that the issue in PDF format is no different to the issue in hard copy format in this respect: TD MONTHLY is covered by copyright, and, as such, the PDF issue is a final finished document, which cannot be amended, copied or reproduced without permission. Your issue will be protected so that it cannot be amended or altered in any way by any outside source. 

A note about new subscriptions and renewals: the payment method for either remains the same as before: payment by cheque or postal order (made out to

P JONES) or cash (if enclosing cash please ensure your envelope is well-sealed). Receiving the issue in PDF format via email is simply another option of enjoying the publication itself - payment remains as before - via the post, and all new subscribers must complete and sign the Subscription Form (returning the form by post to the TD Monthly address, along with your payment) before issues can be despatched. 

Finally, just to confirm that the usual hard copy format of TD MONTHLY despatched through the post IS NOT going to be discontinued. The publication was initially designed without computers, or more specifically internet access, in mind. As a result, the postal method of receiving the issue will always remain the main option. The option to receive TD MONTHLY in PDF format is simply another method of receiving the issue for those that prefer it this way.
